Consent records and the AI label
The console's Compliance pages are for your organization's owners. Through the API they need consents:read or consents:write, which only an owner puts on a key (choose scopes and tick them when making the key). A key can never give them to another key, full access never includes them, and an app or assistant connected to Zentiq never holds them.
The consent register#
Every cloned voice and every avatar made from a picture records a consent: whose face or voice it is, who confirmed it and in what role, the exact words they confirmed and their version, when, and the voices, faces or looks made with it. Logos and characters are recorded the same way.
GET /v1/consentslists them, newest first (status=activeorrevoked, assetType=voice, avatarorlook). Paging through the whole list is the console's export.GET /v1/consents/{id}reads one (cns_…), as its printable receipt shows it.
Withdrawing a consent#
When the person takes their consent back, POST /v1/consents/{id}/revoke records it in the name of the owner in revokedBy:
{ "revokedBy": "usr_…", "reason": "They asked us to stop using their face." }The record is marked withdrawn (who, when, why) and its face, voice or look is retired: it leaves the pickers, and no persona wearing it can start a new session (409 consent_withdrawn). Nothing is deleted, and past sessions keep their history. Withdrawing twice changes nothing (alreadyWithdrawn: true). The member named must be an owner (403 otherwise).
Your own AI label#
Zentiq's SDKs show an "AI" label on the avatar's video. Your app may show its own instead once an owner confirms that it does, for the whole of every session, with a notice at the start (see Telling people it's an AI).
GET /v1/compliance/ai-labelsays whether it is confirmed, when and by which owner, and gives today's words (words, currentVersion).PUT /v1/compliance/ai-labelwith{ "attested": true, "confirm": true, "attestedBy": "usr_…" }confirms the words in that owner's name;{ "attested": false, "attestedBy": "usr_…" }withdraws it. It applies from the next session.
