# Zentiq

> Zentiq builds real-time conversational AI avatars: a face, a voice and instructions that people talk to live, by voice or text, in 99 languages. Businesses use them to train sales teams, tutor students, screen candidates and greet website visitors, from ready-made portals, a one-line website widget, or their own app through the REST API.

The REST API is at https://app.zentiqai.com/v1. Authenticate with an organisation API key made in the Zentiq console (API keys): `Authorization: Bearer zq_live_…`, from your server only. Answers are JSON envelopes `{ "data": …, "error": null, "requestId": … }` (lists add `nextCursor`); errors are `{ "error": { "code", "message" } }`. Creating calls accept an `Idempotency-Key` header. Webhooks are signed with HMAC-SHA256.
Privacy is built in: a young learner's words never leave Zentiq, a candidate's interview leaves only to a hiring system through a key an owner or admin gave interview access (every read logged, never by webhook or to an AI assistant), conversation text goes to a webhook only when you opt in, and safety flags are never sent.
Coming soon: a hosted connector (MCP) so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Codex can build with Zentiq by signing in, and new versions of the SDKs. Until then, call the REST API directly.
